As a history enthusiast, the family-run hotel's picturesque location just outside the quaint village of Maussane-les-Alpilles provided a peaceful setting for exploring the Alpilles region. The room I stayed in was both modern and comfortable, with a nice balcony offering views of the surrounding area. the immaculate housekeeping and friendly staff added to the overall appeal of the hotel. However, I did notice a downside to my experience - the presence of flies in common areas. While this did not detract from the cleanliness of the room, it was a minor inconvenience during meals. In terms of value, the Originals Relais offered a peaceful retreat with good amenities such as a fitness center, outdoor swimming pool, and sauna. For travelers seeking a comfortable base to explore the region, this hotel provides a balance of luxury and affordability.
